Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing and Services industry partner to find an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple large-scale IT initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with defined scopes. The IT Project Manager will collaborate closely with Business Partners and cross-functional teams to manage timelines, escalate risks, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.

Environment: Hybrid (Tues-Thurs on-site)

What You’ll Do

• Lead cross-functional IT project teams, ensuring clear alignment and delivery of key project objectives
• Develop and maintain integrated project timelines, scope, and deliverables
• Facilitate project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in collaboration with functional and IT leaders
• Align with business stakeholders to validate project goals, requirements, and success criteria
• Conduct regular project meetings to address risks, resolve issues, and update stakeholders on status
• Manage vendor relationships, including reviewing SOWs and holding partners accountable for timelines and deliverables
• Drive effective change control and ensure adherence to Program Management, SDLC, Procurement, and Production Change Control standards
• Own defect tracking, IT test coordination, and support resolution efforts with business teams
• Oversee project budgets and resource utilization to ensure fiscal responsibility
• Maintain project documentation and enforce process discipline through all project phases
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent experience (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years of project management experience across IT, operations, or digital platforms, with demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project execution
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QAD, JD Edwards, SAGE 100), CRM/Digital Commerce, and IT infrastructure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, and SharePoint is preferred
• Strong understanding of IT project finances, budgeting, and forecasting
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to direct work and manage stakeholder expectations
• Proven ability to manage complexity, adapt to changing situations, and deliver results under pressure
• Project Management Certification (PMI) is a plus
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in managing sensitive information
• Strong ability to prioritize, anticipate roadblocks, and lead with clarity and influence
