Service Advisor – Join Our Championship Team

Do you love building deep relationships and taking care of people over the long haul?

We do, too.

As a championship team, we believe that teamwork, trust, and shared goals are everything. Our clients will tell you that every interaction, relationship, and retirement plan is built on collaboration and excellence—the same mindset that drives how we treat our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and love serving people well (without having to “sell” or close new business), we’d love to meet you.

Who We Are

We are an independent advisory firm that values building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. As fiduciaries, we help create better financial outcomes by carefully analyzing options, understanding the numbers, and eliminating emotional decision-making.

We walk with our clients through every season of life, especially the transition into and through retirement. We pride ourselves on a culture of extreme ownership, genuine care, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching—the same principles that define a great team both on and off the field.

The Role: Service Advisor

We’re looking for a full-time Service Advisor to be the newest addition to our BAM Team. This role is perfect for someone who loves client service, relationship management, and executing financial strategies, but does not want to prospect, sell, or be the primary “closing” advisor.

You’ll manage an existing book of business, serving as the day-to-day point of contact to ensure our clients feel known, supported, and taken care of in every interaction.

Your Everyday Superpowers – A Relationship & Service-First Position

At the heart of our firm is a strong, client-first culture where meaningful connections and exceptional service are our everyday mission. In this pivotal role, you’ll help protect and strengthen our client relationships by ensuring their plans are implemented accurately, their questions are answered, and their experience with BAM is consistently outstanding.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-savvy team player who thrives on communication, organization, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

Ongoing Client Relationship & Service Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned book of existing clients.
  • Proactively reach out to clients for check-ins, information updates, and review scheduling.
  • Help clients feel heard, cared for, and supported in every interaction—phone, email, or in person.
  • Build and preserve long-term relationships that drive strong client satisfaction and retention.

Implementation of Advice (Under Lead Advisor Direction)

  • Translate Lead Advisor recommendations into clear action steps and execute them.
  • Process and track investment changes, account updates, paperwork, and administrative follow-through.
  • Explain approved recommendations and next steps to clients within licensing and compliance guidelines (without independently creating new strategies or products).
  • Coordinate with custodians, insurance carriers, and internal operations to ensure all transactions are completed smoothly and accurately.

Account Administration & Maintenance

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of client accounts: address changes, beneficiaries, banking links, RMDs, automatic contributions/distributions, and more.
  • Monitor accounts for required signatures, missing documents, and upcoming deadlines—and ensure timely resolution.
  • Track important client dates and obligations (e.g., RMDs, plan milestones) and coordinate with the Lead Advisor to address them.

Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up

  • Prepare review materials for client meetings: reports, performance summaries, planning snapshots, and documentation.
  • Ensure all client data is current and accurate prior to meetings.
  • Own the post-meeting follow-up list: confirm action items with the client, work with internal teams, and close the loop on every task.
  • Document all client interactions and outcomes in the CRM in a clear, organized way.

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Maintain complete, compliant client files (digital and/or paper) consistent with regulatory standards and firm policies.
  • Assist in gathering documents and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Help ensure all paperwork, communications, and transactions are properly documented and compliant.

Internal Coordination & Team Support

  • Collaborate closely with Lead Advisors, planners, and operations team members to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Communicate client needs, questions, and changes promptly to the Lead Advisor so strategies can be updated as necessary.
  • Contribute ideas to improve client service workflows, communication, and overall experience.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build relationships and instill trust with clients over time.
  • Self-motivated, process-driven, and proactive in solving problems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple relationships, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Prior experience in financial services, client service, or a service advisor-type role preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM/database systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with financial or investment concepts is a plus; appropriate licensing (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

Why Join BAM?

Culture-Driven Environment:

Be part of a team that values authenticity, trust, family, and extreme ownership. We care about who you are, not just what you do.

Growth & Development:

Even if you don’t want a traditional “sales” advisor track, you’ll have opportunities to deepen your expertise in client relations, financial planning, and operations.

Impactful Work:

You’ll help individuals and families gain clarity and confidence in their financial future—often during the most important seasons of their lives.

Competitive Compensation & Benefits:

  • Fully paid health and dental for yourself (no vision)
  • 401k Plan
  • 4-day epic pass
  • Team Experiences
