Job Summary

The two major objectives of this position are to provide excellent and timely support to customers and Greek sales team, and to assist with the entering of orders and organizing production paperwork in a timely manner.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Effectively process and enter orders, handle production paperwork.
  • Customer Service functions include responding to all inquiries from customers and potential customers including but not limited to:
    • Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues and providing a positive customer experience.
    • Provide accurate information about products, services and customer concern policies.
    • Build rapport with customers and establish strong relationships.
    • Maintain accurate notes/records of customer interactions and inquires.
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and share insights.
    • Assist customers with order processing, shipment tracking, and returns/exchanges.
    • Communicate any quality concerns or ongoing issues with team lead.
Skills/Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience or understanding of Greek Letter Organizations (fraternity/sorority) helpful but not required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Team spirit required, fast paced environment.
  • High school diploma/GED.

General Requirements in terms of communication, analytical or technical skill and work experience:

  • EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE – Multi-line telephone, computer, Microsoft Word, MS Excel, e-mail and internet.
  • EXPERIENCE – At least 2 years in an office environment performing customer service or call center functions. Zendesk platform or another customer service platform experience helpful.
  • OTHER – Must speak and read English, must be able to handle multiple tasks, must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to bend, reach to access files.
  • Must be able to enter orders electronically while taking information over the telephone.
  • Manufacturing environment; must adhere to safety policies and procedures.
