We're looking for an Associate SQL Developer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of database systems and SQL-based solutions and working closely with senior developers to ensure data accuracy, system performance, and adherence to best practices. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with database design, query optimization, and testing while contributing to ongoing development projects.

We're looking for an Associate SQL Developer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of database systems and SQL-based solutions and working closely with senior developers to ensure data accuracy, system performance, and adherence to best practices. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with database design, query optimization, and testing while contributing to ongoing development projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop, modify, and maintain SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures.
- Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions that meet business needs.
- Work with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Perform data validation and testing to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
- Support version control and deployment processes for database code changes.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and documentation standards.
- Monitor database performance and assist with query optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and business teams to support data integration efforts.
- Maintain documentation for database processes and configurations.
- Participate in Agile team meetings and contribute to sprint goals.
- Learn and apply best practices in database security, data integrity, and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 1+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in SQL development or database support.
- Working knowledge of SQL scripting and query development.
- Basic understanding of database design principles and normalization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Teams).
- Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies.
- Basic understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies is a plus.
