Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, social work or comparable discipline AND three years of managerial experience in an M-2 or comparable position;

OR

A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, social work or comparable discipline AND three years of managerial experience in an M-3 or higher position* in the criminal justice system or in a large social services agency with major responsibility for program development and/or implementation.

• Preferred minimum qualifications experience: Three years of managerial experience in an M-3 or higher position in the criminal justice system or in a large social services agency with major responsibility for the supervision and development of individual case management plans and program development and/or implementation for criminal justice involved individuals.
  
  

SUBSTITUTION: A master’s degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one year of the required managerial experience.
